UMP Australia’s Ilan Kidron’s superb songwriting skills hit the mark yet again in a new 12 month promo for one of Australia’s highest National broadcasters, Network 7.

Working alongside writers Robert Conley and Graham Donald and recorded by Ilan’s Potbelleez side project GO COMET!, the trio composed 'Worlds Apart,' a beautiful, uplifting and anthemic piece to creatively enhance the daily montage of topical News stories presented in the programming promo.

Ilan and his collaborators wrote this inspiring piece to brief, managing to capture the suspense, tragedy and celebration of an ever changing tableau of daily news stories and current affairs highlights.  Producing a composition that incorporates the essence of a conflicting spectrum of emotion and drama is no easy task and the song’s success and consequent broad popularity has eventuated in a digital release of the track and iTunes chart positioning to validate its ability to resonate with a large audience of music lovers and TV viewers.

'Worlds Apart' was so popular, in fact that it went even further spending a month in the ARIA Singles Chart.

Ilan’s Potbelleez works, in addition to his collaborations with Jessica Mauboy, Ricki-Lee & Ricki Martin have attracted an impressive amount of synchronization activity both locally and internationally.  His ASCAP award winning Ricki Martin composition, 'Come With Me', has been licensed over a dozen times in American TV productions and Ilan recently provided the music for Director Samantha Rebillet’s stunning Aust feature, 'The Last Goodbye.'
