Multi-platinum selling Aussie singer-songwriter Alex Lloyd has returned to Australia after five years in the UK and he comes bearing gifts in the form of his first studio album since 2008, Urban Wilderness.

Alex has spent his time abroad in such diverse places as the densely urban city of London and the expansive wilderness of the Kimberly region in north-west Western Australia, where Alex worked on the critically acclaimed soundtrack for the Australian film Mad Bastards with the Indigenous 7-piece family band, The Pigram Brothers.

Being his first studio album in five years, Urban Wilderness was created over a significant period of time and incorporates a variety of sounds, each coloured with Alex's signature singer-songwriting brush. From the electronic effects-filled opening track, Black Cat, to the delicate and folky final number, Reign On Me, Urban Wilderness journeys through the up-beat and super-catchy on tracks like Waterfall (next single) and lead single Better The Less You Know, as well as the earnest and the reflective (Honestly, Anie).
