Troye Sivan wins big at ARIA Awards

Troye Sivan had a night to remember at the 2024 ARIA Awards last week, taking home three major trophies, including Album of the Year, Best Solo Artist, and Best Pop Release, for his chart topping and critically acclaimed album ‘Something To Give Each Other’. The awards, held at The Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on Wednesday 20th November, marked a monumental moment in Troye’s career, with these latest wins bringing his total ARIA tally to an impressive nine awards!

Following the release of ‘Something To Give Each Other’, Troye’s global success has reached new heights, further cementing his place as one of pop’s most influential voices. Described as “a rush of pop perfection” by NME and “one of the year’s most distinctive pop albums” by The Guardian, Troye Sivan's 'Something To Give Each Other,' has achieved remarkable success worldwide, having debuted at #1 on the ARIA Album Chart, the album's popularity has also extended globally, reaching the Top 5 in the UK, New Zealand, Belgium, and the Netherlands and has also earnt him a nomination for Best Dance Pop Recording at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards for his hit single, "Got Me Started."

Troye is now bringing the ‘rush’ back home to Australia with his highly anticipated Something To Give Each Other AU/NZ tour. UMP Australia staff are attending the sold-out Sydney show at the iconic Sydney Opera House forecourt in support on Friday!

Other awards received by UMP fam on the night went to ‘Bluey – Dance Mode!’ for ‘Best Children’s Album’ and Taylor Swift ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ for ‘Most Popular International Artist’.
