UMPG writers DNA achieved #1 Aus Album in the ARIA Charts this month for their co-written album ‘On My Own’ released by Aussie icon and Australian Idol host Ricki-Lee. The release has delighted loyal fans old and new and also sits at #1 on the iTunes Album Chart.
 
DNA has been the premier pop writer/production team for over 15 years based out of Sydney, Australia achieving over 3.5 billion sales collectively, 7 No. 1 hits and 20 top 10 hits both with Australian icons, new and developing acts and international artists including Delta Goodrem, Ricky Martin, The Veronicas and our very own Jessica Mauboy.
 
The album, which was co-written with Ricki-Lee herself, also achieved #3 in the album charts as well as #4 in the Vinyl chart.
 
Ricki-Lee on DNA said, “I respect what they do so much, because like myself, they are unapologetically pop. There’s not a lot of writers and producers who are like that. I’ve been wanting to work with them for the longest time – so I reached out and said from the start that I wanted to write the whole album with them – and that’s what we did.”
