Petros Klampanis is a bassist, composer, arranger, and producer originally from Greece. He has recorded six albums as a leader and has performed at prestigious venues and festivals worldwide. His most recent album, Tora Collective, blends melodies and themes from Greek folklore with contemporary jazz to create a unique fusion of styles. The album has been well-received globally, with critics praising Klampanis and his group for their sensitive craftsmanship, informed authenticity, and perfect nuance and balance. In addition to the critical acclaim, Tora Collective has received high ratings from several publications, including 4.5/5 stars from audio.de, 4/5 stars from DownBeat Magazine, and 4/5 stars from JAZZTHETIK, received the German critics award in the "Ethnic/Traditional Music" category in May 2023 and been listed as one of the top albums in 2023 in many outlets (DownBeat Magazine, BR Klassik, SWR Kultur & more).

Klampanis is the musical director of Grammy awarded singer and composer Arooj Aftab, with whom he has co-arranged her new album "Night Reign".
