UMPG artists and songwriters Doechii and Gracie Abrams were both honored at the Billboard Women in Music Awards 2025 - held on 29th March at the YouTube Theater, Hollywood Park.

Doechii was awarded Woman of the Year, after an incredible 12 months that saw her win the Grammy for Best Rap Album for Alligator Bites Never Heal.  Accepting the award she said: “We are the creators, we are the executives and we are the innovators – who are just as central to this industry as the men… This is our night to rightfully come together to acknowledge each other, to support each other and to celebrate.” 

Accepting her award for Songwriter of the Year, Gracie Abrams said: “My deepest gratitude to Billboard for even considering me for this award… It's a profound privilege to get to do thing that you love in life. And I love writing more than anything and with every single fibre of my being.” She also thanked fellow UMPG collaborators Taylor Swift, Blake Slatkin and Audrey Hobert.
