UMPG signs Surfaces to exclusive global co-publishing agreement

Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG), a leading global music publisher, today announced that breakout success story Surfaces have been signed to an exclusive, global co-publishing agreement.
 
Based out of Texas, the duo is made up of Forrest Frank and Colin Padalecki and is signed to 10K Projects. Represented by management team Homemade Projects, Surfaces has more than 23 million monthly listeners on Spotify, has been praised for its genre-bending, feel-good music and are hugely popular on TikTok.
 
Surfaces is best known for their hugely popular single "Sunday Best". The song is certified RIAA Gold, has more than 200 million plays on Spotify and nearly 54 million views on YouTube. “Sunday Best” continues to grow weekly and is currently #16 on Top 40 US Radio.

In 2017, Surfaces released their first full-length album “Surf” followed by 2019 album “Where The Light Is” (which carries “Sunday’s Best”) which is still climbing the Billboard Top 200 chart. Most recently, Surfaces released their newest album “Horizons” which is garnering tens of millions of streams.
