Los Angeles and Baarn, The Netherlands - Global EDM superstar Martin Garrix has extended his exclusive worldwide publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group, it was announced today by Mark Bremer, Managing Director of Universal Music Publishing Benelux.
In making the announcement, Bremer said, “As a multi-talented and versatile songwriter, artist and producer, Martin Garrix is has become a phenomenon in music and he continues to amaze us with his creativity. We are privileged to extend our successful publishing relationship with him.”

As the youngest DJ to ever reach the Top 3 of DJMag’s Top 100, Garrix won the MTV EMA for Best Electronic Artist in 2015 and rose to fame with his breakthrough hit “Animals,” a No.1 U.K. hit that went Top 10 in over 10 countries. The song has garnered over 750 million YouTube views, and nearly 150 million Spotify streams.
Garrix has crafted hit after hit working with major artists such as Tiësto, Avicii, Ed Sheeran, Usher and Afrojack among others. In 2015 Tiësto and Garrix released “The Only Way Is Up,” which became the anthem for 7Up’s #TeamUp ad campaign. Garrix also became the new face of Tag Heuer, which featured his music as part of their #DontCrackUnderPressure ad campaign. In March, Garrix released his single “Now That I’ve Found You (feat. John & Michel),” which was recently showcased with nine other tracks during his main stage closing set at the Miami Ultra Festival.
