NASHVILLE, TN - Universal Music Publishing Group Nashville (UMPG Nashville) has renewed its exclusive, worldwide publishing agreement with hit songwriter Andrew Dorff, as announced today by Kent Earls, Executive Vice President/General Manager, UMPG Nashville. Dorff has written songs recorded by some of country music’s biggest stars, including “Somebody’s Heartbreak” by Hunter Hayes, which was a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.
“Andrew is a gifted songwriter and a rising star in the Nashville songwriting community. He is delivering songs that are taking him to the next level. Welook forward to building on the success that we have already achieved over the past 4 years,” said Kent Earls, Executive Vice President/General Manager, UMPG Nashville.

Dorff co-wrote the No. 1 hit “Somebody’s Heartbreak,” with fellow UMPG Nashville songwriters Hunter Hayes and Luke Laird. The song has sold over 950,000 copies to date and is featured on Hayes’ platinum-certified debut album Hunter Hayes. Dorff also co-wrote the Top 10 hit “Bleed Red,” which was recorded by Ronnie Dunn.
In addition to his success with Hayes and Dunn, Dorff has cuts on Blake Shelton’s album Based On A True Story… (“My Eyes”), Justin Moore’s Off The Beaten Path (“This Kind of Town”), Sara Evans’ Stronger (“Life Without Losing”), Tim McGraw’s Two Lanes of Freedom (“Friend of a Friend” and “Tinted Windows”), and The Robertson Family’s Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas (“Camouflage and Christmas Lights”), to name a few. Dorff also has upcoming cuts with Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, and Sara Evans.
