On Wednesday February 20th, country music legend, Reba McEntire, announced the 2019 ACM Award nominees on CBS This Morning. Keith Urban earned a nomination for the highest honor of the night, Entertainer of the Year, as well as a nomination for Male Artist of the Year. Kane Brown is up for Single of the Year for his hit song, “Heaven,” and Danielle Bradbery scored a nomination for New Female Artist of the Year. UMPG songwriter, Chase McGill earned an outstanding two nominations for Songwriter of the Year as well as Song of the Year for co-writing “Break Up in the End” recorded by Cole Swindell. Another UMPG writer, David Garcia also earned a nomination for Song of the Year for co-writing “Meant to Be” performed by Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha.
The 54th ACM Awards will be airing live from the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday April 7th on CBS.
