Universal Music Publishing Scandinavia are happy to announce the signing of artist, songwriter and producer Soleima.

The Copenhagen based talent presents an artist with a singular take on pop that is at once immediately engaging and fascinatingly off-kilter. Her modernist pop escape easy genre classification and the lyrics border both hope and melancholy while touching on social issues that are reinforced by cutting-edge production.

On her mini-album “NO. 14” she received widespread praise and recognition including Talent of the Year at the major Danish award ceremony P3 Guld and Best Newcomer at the Danish Music Awards. Meanwhile, Radio 1’s Annie Mac highlighted Soleima as a New Name. 

Soleima’s quirkiness, closeness and unconventional pop sensibilities shaped her latest EP “Bulldog”, released via Big Beat Records in April.
