UMP Scandinavia extends the deal with Norwegian songwriter Rolf Løvland. Rolf is maybe most recognized for composing one of the biggest songs ever - 'You Raise Me Up'. The song was first recorded with Rolf's band Secret Garden, but Josh Groban made it famous with his version. Later on Westlife did their take on the song and reached #1 on the UK charts.
Today 'You Raise Me Up' has been recorded in more than 2000 different versions, and is considered one of the highest earning songs of all time.
Besides writing 'You Raise Me Up' Rolf has also won the Eurovision Song Contest twice.
The deal includes both catalogue and future songwriting.
