Agnes releases new single '24 Hours'

With 1.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify and over 120 million cumulative streams worldwide, Agnes has established herself as an internationally renowned pop/dance artist. Over the past years, Agnes has delivered a number of new songs including 'Nothing Can Compare', 'Goodlife' and 'Fingers Crossed' as well as incomparable TV appearances on both Skavlan and Late Night Concert. Most recently she delivered a unique live performance of 'Fingers Crossed' at The Circle Sessions (watch below).

Friday May 21st, Agnes returns with the release of her second single from her upcoming album. The single is called '24 Hours' and is co-written by Vargas & Lagola and Kerstin Ljungström.

The new release follows the success of 'Fingers Crossed' which has been #1 on Swedish radio 9 consecutive weeks and been streamed over 10 million times.

Agnes about the song: "24 Hours is about going through the fire and the pain. How your life is turned upside down. Something extreme had to happen for you to wake up and see everything clearly. It is a sliding door moment where you choose the path forward."

Pop lovers all over the world best remember Agnes by her dance-pop classic "Release Me" which hit every single dance floor in 2009. Her critically acclaimed experimental pop album Veritas from 2012, made her mark among pop lovers. The following years she made a soul-searching journey away from the industry she dominated for eight years, to find freedom and inspiration for new music. Agnes describes the journey as exploring the unknown, capturing the feeling of freedom and feeling carefree and to just focus on the euphoria of today that she found in and on the dance floor. She says: "On the dance floor, everyone is equal, and it's about the here and now and just being. There is no 'right' or 'wrong'. You just are"
