For the 67th GRAMMY Awards nominations, UMPG songwriters, artists, producers and composers earned a record 111 nominations spanning 51 categories! Across genres, our talent contributed to many of this year’s most influential and culturally significant songs.

UMPG talent received six nominations each for Song of the Year and Record of the Year, and five for Album of the Year. Our songwriters had nominations in nearly every major ‘Best Song’ category, including R&B, Rap, Rock, Country, American Roots, Contemporary Christian Music, Gospel, Song Written for Visual Media and Contemporary Classical Composition.

UMPG top nominees for 2025 are Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar and Post Malone who each earned 7 nominations. Tied with 6 nominations are Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift. Billie, Jack Antonoff, Raphael Saadiq, Sabrina and Taylor are all nominated in the Album, Record and Song of the Year categories.

The staying power of our nominated talent spanned decades. UMPG’s longtime superstars Pearl Jam swept rock categories with three nominations (Rock Performance, Album and Song) - their first music-specific GRAMMY recognition in nearly 30 years. And we had several first-time GRAMMY nominees such as Sabrina Carpenter, Clairo, Doechii and Finn Keane.

UMPG Best New Artist nominees include rising global stars Sabrina Carpenter and Doechii. Alicia Keys’ hugely acclaimed show ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ is nominated for Musical Theater Album. Best Song Written for Visual Media recognized “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma” (Twisters: The Album) co-written by Luke Combs and “Better Place” (‘TROLLS Band Together) co-written by Justin Timberlake. “Maestro: Music by Leonard Bernstein” was recognized in the Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media Category.”

Other UMPG multi-nominees include Nevin Sastry, Louis Bell, Metro Boomin, Chris Brown, Cody Carnes, Cirkut, Lucky Daye, Doechii, Eminem, Four Tet, Ariana Grande, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Raphael Saadiq and SZA.

Congratulations to this year’s nominees around the world!
