Prince Charlez

Born Charles Hinshaw Jr., the Compton, CA. native songwriter/producer known as PRINCE CHARLEZ has built a fast-growing reputation in the music industry. He began singing and dancing for his family and friends at 5 years old and began his formal training at the infamous Debbie Allen Dance School in Los Angeles, CA.

As a pre-teen, Charlez continued to nurture his talents and performed with R&B artists Mya, Monica, Brandy; provided background vocals for legendary Gospel artists Yolanda Adams and Kim Burrell; and music icon Stevie Wonder.

Charlez's discography showcases his multifaceted talents as he's worked with Usher ('More'),Enrique Iglesias and The Backstreet Boys ('Need Love), as well as with producers RedOne, Dr. Dre, and Quincy Jones. He's also featured on collaborations with some of Hip-Hop's finest, including T.I., Kendrick Lamar, and B.o.B.  

Charlez co-wrote RIHANNA's "Needed Me" on her critically acclaimed and commercially sound studio release ANTI.
