Tom Petty "Love Is A Long Road” (UMPG writer Michael W. Campbell) has seen a huge soar in streaming following the release of the trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, for which it provides the soundtrack. 

10 years in the making, Grand Theft Auto VI is due out 2025 and is hugely anticipated by gaming fans. The trailer shot straight to the top of YouTube’s trending chart, racking up 85 million views in 24 hours and breaking the current record for the highest number of views in 24 hours for a non-music video. 

Spotify revealed that since the trailer's Tuesday release, streams of “Love Is A Long Road” have increased 36,979% compared to the previous week.

The song was co-written by UMPG writer Mike Campbell, who was a member, architect and co-captain of the Heartbreakers, which he co-founded with Tom Petty. The Heartbreakers’ lead guitarist, Campbell co-wrote many of the Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers hits and also co-produced many of their albums.
