A brand new documentary film ‘The Beach Boys’, from Walt Disney Studios, launches on Disney Plus on 24th May. 

The film is a celebration of the legendary band that revolutionized pop music, and the iconic, harmonious sound they created that personified the California dream, captivating fans for generations. The documentary traces the band from humble family beginnings and features never-before-seen footage and all-new interviews with The Beach Boys’ members and other luminaries in the music business. 

Discussing the songwriting genius of Brian Wilson in the trailer clip, Don Was (Grammy-winning musician & producer) explains: “Brian put together textures that no one had ever put into popular songs before. He did it first.”

Jody Gerson (Chairman & CEO, UMPG) and Marc Cimino (Chief Operating Officer, UMPG) were both executive producers on the film.
