Koi Boys Drop Debut Album 'Meant To Be'

New Zealand born, Gold Coast bred The Koi Boys’ debut album Meant To Be has dropped today. Made up of Danny Faifai, Kevin Keepa and Ngahere “Nuz” Ngatai, the talented Koi Boys have been busy performing at local and global events such as the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix, Brisbane’s River Fire and next month’s Melbourne Cup.

Working with producer Robert Conley (Montaigne, Tina Arena, The Delta Riggs, Darren Hayes, Thelma Plum), the albumticks off Motown, funk, RnB, pop, cabaret with covers such as The Weeknd’s “The Hills” and “Sh-Boom (Life Could Be a Dream)” and original works “Yes”, a sweet love song written by Kevin and “Angels Have to Fly”, a stunning reggae track written by Nuz after his cousin died from epilepsy.
