SYDNEY – October 31, 2019 - Universal Music Publishing Australia today announced that David Musumeci and Anthony Egizii of Australian songwriter and production duo DNA Songs have signed a global publishing deal. DNA Songs have achieved 7 #1 ARIA Singles and 20 Top 10 hits, selling in excess of 8.5 million units as writers & producers.
David and Anthony have worked with a variety of international and local acts including Ricky Martin, The Veronicas, Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy, Delta Goodrem, Timomatic, Dami Im and Samantha Jade. Their number one singles include; The Veronicas' ‘You Ruin Me’ which certified triple platinum and ‘In My Blood’ which certified double platinum, Delta Goodrem's double platinum single ‘Wings’, Samantha Jade’s ‘What You've Done To Me’ and Dami Im's ‘Alive’.
DNA Songs won the prestigious Marcel Bezençon Composer Award ‘Best and Most Original Composition’ for Dami Im’s ‘Sound Of Silence’, which was awarded second place at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.

2016’s X Factor Australia winner Isaiah released his winning single ‘It’s Gotta Be You’ written and produced by DNA, the track has accumulated over 229 million Spotify streams making it one of the most streamed songs in Sony Music Australia’s history.

David Musumeci and Anthony Egizii continue to write with Guy Sebastian, Delta Goodrem, Samantha Jade, Isaiah Firebrace, Human Nature, Mike Waters, Kota Banks and The Veronicas for their upcoming 2020 releases.
