Boutique record label Rich Music  Inc was created in 2007 by father-and-son team Rich and Josh Mendez, born out of their love for music and the industry. Rich was born in Brooklyn, New York, grew up in Grande Pierre, Texas, and for the last twenty years has been living with his family in Orlando, Florida. Josh, raised in Orlando, attended Jacksonville University on a football scholarship and obtained a business and marketing degree. 

The record label that began in the general market is now making great strides in the Latin music industry. Their first signed artist was Grind, with whom they eventually struck a joint venture deal with Rapper Yung Joc & Jive Records.

In the Latin market, with a vision to cross him over to the Anglo side, they signed Justin Quiles, one of the leading singer-songwriters in the industry. With Justin, Rich Music has proved to the industry that hard work, dedication, and experience will pay off.  In 2017, they signed Justin to a record deal with Warner Music Latina. That same year the company earned a Billboard Latin Music Award nomination as Latin Rhythm Albums Label of the Year. 

In 2018, the company signed a long-term distribution deal with Ingrooves. Rich Music continues to grow and their goal is to further build their brand, on both the Latin and Anglo markets, with quality artists that have what it takes to succeed in the music business. In addition to Justin, the other artists in their roster are Dímelo Flow, Dalex, Magnífico, Sech, Barbara Doza and Chris Marsh.
