UMPG celebrated outstanding success at the 2025 GRAMMY Awards, representing 15 of Sunday night's Grammy Award winners, who garnered trophies across 19 genre-diverse categories, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year. In addition, UMPG Chairman & CEO Jody Gerson received the Recording Academy’s 2025 Industry Icon Award, recognizing her transformative leadership and impact on the music industry.

We had a wonderful week in Miami for the 25th annual Latin Grammy Awards. We are so proud of our team of songwriters, artists, and producers for all their nominations and wins. UMPG Latin participated in 84 nominations across 58 categories, including participation in 5/10 for Record of the Year, 6/10 for Album of the Year, and 4/10 for Song of the Year. We won 14 awards that included but were not limited to Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Engineered Album, Best Pop Song, Best Rock Album, Best Singer-Songwriter Album, and more.

David Gray has been promoted to Managing Director, U.K. and Head of Global A&R for Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG), a leader in global music publishing, it was announced today by UMPG Chairman & CEO Jody Gerson, to whom Gray reports. Gray will relocate to London from New York in January. Passing the reins to Gray is longtime UMPG U.K. Managing Director Mike McCormack, who has established a consultancy and formed a joint venture with the company.

Based in New York, she will report to UMPG Chairman and CEO Jody Gerson, and UMPG COO Marc Cimino. Additionally, Kram will provide marketing support for Bravado, UMG’s global merchandise and brand management company, reporting to President Matt Young. In her new role at UMPG, Kram will oversee the company’s marketing efforts with a focus on creative storytelling and cultural relevancy. She will work to amplify initiatives across business units, and maximizing awareness and opportunities for UMPG-owned catalogs. Additionally, Kram will work with Bravado to drive strategy and create revenue-generating opportunities for UMPG/Bravado catalog IP.
