New Signing: Espinoza Paz

Mexico City, D.F. – Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) Mexico has signed an exclusive, worldwide publishing deal with Regional Mexican superstar and singer/songwriter Espinoza Paz. The announcement was made today by Alexandra Lioutikoff, UMPG EVP Latin Music, and Yadira Moreno, Managing Director of UMPG Mexico and Central America.

Paz has been hugely successful in both the U.S. Latin and Mexico markets. As a hitmaker Paz has written chart-topping singles for some of the most recognizable Latin artists such as La Arrolladora Banda Limon, David Bisbal, Banda MS, Paulina Rubio, Calibre 50, Thalia, and Julion Alvarez, to name a few. His latest hits include “Yo quisiera entrar” (Ariel Camacho y Los plebes del Rancho), “Desde cuando no me quieres” (Banda Carnaval), and “Te Diran” (La Adictiva Banda San Jose de Mesillas), which is nominated for Best Regional Song at the 17th Annual Latin Grammy Awards.

“Espinoza is the consummate hitmaker with a rare ability to write songs that truly connect with music fans. We are proud to be part of the career of one of the most important songwriters in Mexico and the U.S. Latin market,” said Moreno.
