UMPG artist & writer Alvaro Diaz has been awarded the No. 1 spot in Rolling Stone’s Latin Albums of the Year for his latest album ‘Sayonara’. 

On its release in May ‘Sayonara’ debuted at No. 1 in the US Latin album chart and No. 2 on Spotify’s Top Albums Debut Global Chart, amassing over 310 million global streams.

Alvaro Diaz was also recently nominated for a Premios HEAT award and ‘Sayonara’ was nominated for Best Urban Music Album at the 25th Annual Latin Grammy Awards,

Rolling Stone said of the album: “His musical confidence recalls Bad Bunny and Tainy… turning his anthemic heartbreak into an artistic coming-out party from a star who has spent years working toward this moment.”
