The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) announced last night that Universal Music Publishing Group has been recognized with the coveted Premio ASCAP 2024 / Latin ASCAP Awards 2024 Publisher of the Year Award. The ASCAP Latin Music Awards is a prestigious, annual industry event honoring the most popular songs of each year.
The leading Latin publishing company’s awarded songs include "CLASSY 101" by Feid & Young Miko, "Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo" by Feid, "Lala" by Myke Towers, "Rumbatón" by Daddy Yankee, "Solo Conmigo" by Romeo Santos and "La Jumpa" by Arcángel and Bad Bunny, among other renowned hits.
Additionally, UMPG global superstar Feid was awarded ASCAP Latin Songwriter/Artist of the Year. He was honored for Billboard Latin #1 hits including “Yandel 150” with Yandel, “Hey Mor” with Ozuna, “Niña Bonita” ft. Sean Paul, among others.
Alexandra Lioutikoff, President of Universal Music Publishing Latin America and US Latin, along with her talented team, received this important recognition. In her words of gratitude, Lioutikoff expressed her thanks to all the songwriters, artists and producers who trusted UMPG, highlighting that this award is the result of the hard work and dedication of the entire team. The award ceremony, exclusively by invitation, took place last night in Miami, Florida, under the direction of DJ Vela. This special occasion served to celebrate the composers and publishers leading the society's charts, in an atmosphere filled with stars and talent.
