On Wednesday, November 14th Keith Urban was crowned 2018's CMA Entertainer of the Year.

Urban accepted the award as he wiped away tears and told the audience he was "shocked beyond shocked."

"I just feel very, very blessed. Very grateful that I get to do what I do, and thank you to all of you for coming out. God bless country music. God bless you all."

When later asked, Urban told Billboard Magazine that when he heard his name called to receive the Entertainer of the Year award he felt simply "euphoric."

The other nominees in this category included Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, and Chris Stapleton.

Urban has won CMA's Entertainer of the Year, country music's most coveted award, one other time, in 2005.
