Success for UMP writers at 55th Grammys

Mumford & Sons picked up the coveted Album Of The Year award for their second album 'Babel' at last night’s Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

Adele won her ninth Grammy, for Best Pop Solo performance for her live version of ‘Set Fire to the Rain’ performed at The Royal Albert Hall.

‘Babel’ has now sold well over 3 million copies worldwide whilst Adele’s album ‘21’ has sold almost 26 million.

UK signing Brian Burton (aka Danger Mouse) won an award with The Black Keys for Best Rock Song for ‘Lonely Boy’, whilst his co-written album ‘El Camino’ won the Best Rock Album Grammy. 

Mumford & Sons also won the Grammy for Best Long Form Music Video for tour video ‘Big Easy Express’.
