In celebration of their first decade together, The Killers release ‘Direct Hits’ on November 11th - a collection of singles from their four albums, plus two brand new songs.
The album follows a chronological journey through the band’s big hits from ‘Hot Fuss’ (2004), ‘Sam’s Town’ (2006), Day & Age’ (2008) and ‘Battle Born’ (2012) – kicking off with their breakthrough song ‘Mr Brightside’. Completing the set are two brand new songs: ‘Shot at the Night’ (released as a single on 4th November) and ‘Just Another Girl’ - produced by long time Killers collaborator Stuart Price.
Ten years after the band took to the stage for their first ever London show, they have gone on to sell over 20 million albums. Each of The Killers’ four studio albums has topped the UK charts, and the band ranks in the Top 3 of Amazon’s biggest selling artists of the past decade. They have also headlined festivals the world over, performed at the White House and picked up multiple awards.
Speaking to Radio.com about ‘Direct Hits’, frontman Brandon Flowers said: “I feel like this puts a lot of things in perspective. When I look at it, I’m really proud of it, but I’m also really excited about evolving and growing.”
