Bastille win British Breakthrough at Brit Awards

Bastille continued their phenomenal year last week when they took home the Brit Award for British Breakthrough Act.

The London four-piece, who released their debut album ‘Bad Blood’ in March 2013, fought off competition from Disclosure, Laura Mvula, London Grammar and Tom Odell to take the prize. At the ceremony they performed with Rudimental, delivering a mash-up of their single ‘Pompeii’ with Rudimental’s ‘Waiting All Night’.

‘Bad Blood’ debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and has since gone on to sell over 3.5 million copies worldwide. This week the album shot back up to the UK No. 1 spot once again.
