Coldplay have announced details of their sixth studio album and revealed two new songs. ‘Ghost Stories’ - the follow up to 2011’s ‘Mylo Xyloto’ -  is set to be released 19th May via Parlophone / Atlantic.

Last week Coldplay unveiled a brand new song via their YouTube channel. ‘Midnight’ is a hauntingly beautiful downtempo track produced by Jon Hopkins, and accompanied by an atmospheric video directed by Mary Wigmore.

Yesterday the band followed up ‘Midnight’ with a second new song ‘Magic’ – set to the be the first single from the album.

This is the first new material from the band since the Grammy nominated ‘Atlas’ – which featured in the soundtrack to ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’.
