Brandon Flowers releases his new album ‘The Desired Effect’ this week on Virgin EMI. It’s The Killers frontman’s second solo outing since 2010’s chart topping ‘Flamingo’ and has attracted rave reviews, with Rolling Stone calling it “the best straight-up pop album made by a rock star in recent memory.”
Highlights from the album include triumphant first single ‘Can’t Deny My Love’, which premiered on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 Show, and the euphoric ‘I Can Change’ - featuring Haim singer/guitarist Danielle on guest drums.
The Independent hails ‘The Desired Effect’ as “a series of huge-sounding, stadium-ready pop anthems of undeniable charm", The Guardian praises the album’s “thrillingly 80’s style pop”, whilst Q Magazine proclaim it “big, bold and joyful, it's exactly what a great pop album should be.”
