Coldplay have revealed the first single from their upcoming seventh album. The shimmering upbeat ‘Adventure of a Lifetime’ was premiered on the Radio 1 Breakfast show. 

The new album ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’ will be released on 4th December via Parlophone/Atlantic. The follow up the lovelorn ‘Ghost Stories’, the band have described the new album as “bursting with energy, colour and big, life-affirming moments” and said that they have “never enjoyed making a record more than this one. Nor have they been happier with the results.” 

‘A Head Full Of Dreams’ is set to feature guest cameos from Beyonce, Noel Gallagher and Tove Lo. Recorded in Malibu, LA and London, it was produced by Norwegian duo Stargate together with the band’s long-time collaborator Rik Simpson.
