For the past 13 years, John Ewbank has been composing and writing for his co-production ‘Sky’. Along with Marco Borsato and Robin de Levita, the musical has been in the works for years. ‘Sky’ is a story about a 16-year old girl of the same name facing the complex struggles of being a teenager, while her dream world helps her cope with these problems.

Ewbank: “Robin and I have been working on this project for years. Now that we’re capable of switching between reality and fantasy through 3D projection, the time has come to finally realize this dream.”

The use of 3D projections adds a whole new dimension to the décor, opening up countless possibilities, such as animated sceneries, or even flipping the whole stage 180 degrees. The audience won’t be able to keep reality and fantasy apart. Combined with compelling storytelling and music, audiences are guaranteed a spectacular experience.
