Congratulations Douwe Bob for winning the Schaal van Rigter! The award was presented this morning by 3FM host Giel van Beelen during Douwe Bob's live radio appearance.

The Schaal van Rigter, named after the late former 3FM DJ Wim Rigter, is awarded to the most played Dutch single of the year. Douwe Bob won the award for his song 'Sweet Sunshine' from his album 'Pass It On'. The song was already named 3FM Megahit shortly after its release.  is nominated for 3 more 3FM Awards: 'Best Male Singer', 'Best Pop Artist', and 'Best Single' for 'Sweet Sunshine'. The winners of the 3FM Awards will be announced March 28th.

The young Dutchman will be representing his country during this years Eurovision song contest in May, with his new song 'Slow Down'.
