Florence + The Machine share 'Jenny of Oldstones'

The band's recording of the Game of Thrones original track makes Florence the only artist to be featured in the final season of the HBO series.

Florence + The Machine's cover of 'Jenny of Oldstones' was played during the end credits of Episode 2 of the eighth and final series of Game of Thrones.

The track was written by Ramin Djawadi, Dan Weiss, David Benioff and George R.R. Martin, and is an adaption of a song mentioned in the novels on which the series is based. Florence recorded the song after being approached by Benief and Weiss - the show's creators and longtime fans of Florence & the Machine.

Speaking of the track, Florence said: “When I first heard the song it sounded like a Celtic lullaby to me. Celtic music has always been in my blood, so I felt like I could do something with it."
