Vargas & Lagola (Vincent Pontare & Salem Al Fakir) are currently celebrating success - both as artists and writers.

In February Vargas & Lagola released their single 'Roads', it built on Swedish radio throughout the spring and has now reached no. 3 on the airplay chart. It also became one of the most Shazamed songs in Sweden. The radio success then moved on to Spotify, where it peaked at no. 15.

Vargas & Lagola co-wrote 'Dance Macabre' and 'Life Eternal' on Ghost's highly acclaimed album 'Prequelle'. First week the album went no. 3 on Billboard Top 100, no. 1 in several countries (including Sweden, Norway, New Zealand) and top 10 in 13 territories (UK, Germany, Australia, Canada and more).

Together with Ghost and Candlemass the duo did a interpretation of Polar Music Prize laureates Metallica's 'Enter Sandman'.
