The award ceremony is usually held in November at Berns in Stockholm. This year's winners will be presented at the prize ceremony in 2021.

The Swedish MPA Awards is hosted by Musikförläggarna, The Swedish Music Publishers Association, and is an annual prize ceremony that premiers Swedish songwriters, lyricists and contemporary composers.
