Today Timbuktu's new album 'Du Gamla Du Nya', his first since 2014, has landed.

In some ways, Du Gamla Du Nya came about unexpectedly. 2020 was the year none of us saw coming and I was moved to write. I wrote about where I was personally ans about the uprising that went global last summer. The feeling of seeing tens of thousands of Swedes in the streets demonstrating about issues that have always been close to my heart was just overwhelming.
In the 7 years since my last album a few things have changed. I'm older (and maybe a little wiser), I'm a father and collectively as a society, we have been transitioning and transforming. So much is changing and new for all of us.
I hope you enjoy the album as much as I have loved creating it.
