Universal Music Publishing Scandinavia, a division of Universal Music Publishing Group, today announced that Jessica Brandt has been promoted to Senior Vice President, A&R for the Nordic Region. Based in Stockholm, Brandt will report to Jonas Wikström, UMPG MD of the Nordics. The company is recognized globally as a true music publisher and home to the industry’s leading songwriters
In her new role, Brandt will lead UMPG’s successful A&R department in the Nordic region. Having joined UMPG in 2008, Brandt has built a successful A&R career with the company over the last decade. The respective executive has signed and works closely with songwriters such as Elias Kapari, Daniela Rathana, Calle Lehmann, and Maja Francis. Additionally, Brandt is the co-founder of Rec Collective, a music production course for female songwriters, and has served on the management team for Musikmakarna.

Her ability to build relationships and trust, her passion and determination, and her creativity and curiosity make her an extremely competent A&R.
