Several tracks published by Universal Music Publishing Group form part of the soundtrack to a new film about legendary Belfast record shop and label Good Vibrations.
Set amidst the troubles in Belfast during the 1970’s comes the true story of a man called Terri Hooley, instrumental in launching Belfast’s punk rock scene and famed for the city’s first alternative record shop Good Vibrations. Terri becomes the town’s ‘Godfather of Punk’ discovering young bands, most notably The Undertones.
Universal Music Publishing Group are pleased to have placed songs from The Undertones, Stiff Little Fingers and Rudi in the film, and congratulate Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody as the film’s executive producer and David Holmes as score composer.
The film stars Richard Dormer as Hooley, as well as Dylan Moran and Jodie Whittaker.
