UMPG published compositions have been nominated for two Music + Sound Awards - a ceremony which recognises the role that music and sound play in the world of film, television, advertising and games.
               
Plan B’s score for ‘Ill Manors’ has been nominated in the ‘Best Original Composition: Film Score’ category. Plan B also directed the film - a hard hitting, explosive crime thriller set in East London.

Also nominated in the same category is Florence + The Machine’s stunning composition for the ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ soundtrack. ‘Breath of Life’ features a 105 piece orchestra and 60 piece choir, and was recorded at the famous Abbey Road studios.

This year the Music + Sound Awards are supporting music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins. The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 21st February.
