The Vaccines and R Stevie Moore have released a limited edition 7 inch as part of this year’s Record Store Day celebrations.
The single was released on Tim Burgess' O Genesis Recordings, and features The Vaccines covering R Stevie Moore's ‘Why Should I Love You’ and R Stevie Moore covering ‘Post Break Up Sex’ by The Vaccines.
‘Why Should I Love You’ was selected for both Zane Lowe's Hottest Record In The World and Q Magazine's Track of the Day last week.
Another intriguing pairing to come out of this year’s event was Fiest and Mastodon – under the name ‘Fiestodon’, with the band covering Fiest’s ‘A Commotion’ whilst Fiest gave her own interpretation to the metal legends’ ‘Black Tongue’.
