The nominations for the 55th annual Grammy Awards have been announced and artists signed to Universal Music Publishing UK received an impressive 19 nominations.

Mumford & Sons have been nominated for a magnificent six Grammys, equalling the most nominations, including Album Of The Year for ‘Babel’ and Best Rock Song for ‘I Will Wait’.

Florence & The Machine received two nominations, including one for Best Pop Vocal Album for ‘Ceremonials’.

Songwriter Brian Burton’s (aka Danger Mouse) work on The Black Keys album is recognised with five nominations, including ‘Album of the Year’.

Alabama Shakes are nominated for Best New Artist and there are also nods for Coldplay, Adele, The Chemical Brothers and Tegan & Sara.
