Univeral Music Publishing have signed the BBC Sound of 2013 winners, Haim.

Hailing from the San Fernando Valley, Haim consists of sisters Este, Danielle and Alana Haim, along with drummer Dash Hutton. After years of playing with in a family band with their parents, the girls decided to strike out on their own and began writing their own material.

In 2012 Haim released a three song EP titled ‘Forever’, which sparked off a surge of industry attention. The band toured the UK, supporting Florence + The Machine and Mumford & Sons, and impressively went on to win the BBC’s Sound of 2013 Poll.  The BBC stated, “Haim have an unapologetic passion for music that shines in their songs. They're brilliant musicians who have a real talent for tunes that merge their tales of growing up in the 21st Century with a classic songwriting ability.”

Haim have released two EPs since the 2012 debut: ‘Don’t Save Me’ produced by James Ford and ‘Falling’ produced by Ariel Rechsteidt. Their full length album is due this autumn.
