Mark Owen releases his fourth solo album 'The Art Of Doing Nothing' today on Polydor – his first album since Take That reunited in 2006.

Mark wrote the album, which was recorded in the studio at the bottom of his garden, whilst Take That were taking a break, having finished their record-breaking ‘Progress’ tour. Despite the album's title, Mark found he wasn’t very good at doing nothing; “I’ve been making songs for 20 years now and I don’t really know what else to do. It’s my hobby and my day job all in one."

The first single from the album is ‘Stars’ – an anthemic track full of expansive, swaggering pop swirls. Elsewhere the delicate orchestral ‘S.A.D.’ features a mesmerising turn from Salford vocalist Ren Harvieu, whilst the stomping synth-pop of ‘Heaven’s Falling’ is topped by a frenetic appearance from London rapper Jake Emlyn.
