Universal Music Publishing are delighted to welcome Glasgow trio Chvrches to the UMP family.
 
Chvrches are Iain Cook, Martin Doherty and Lauren Mayberry - their sound takes elements of classic electronica, hip hop and post-punk, and yet sounds like none of the above. Their blend of classic and modern analogue synthesisers, bruised beats and crude vocal sampling came to the fore in their debut single ‘The Mother We Share’, released in late 2012.

Chvrches were voted No. 5 in the BBC Sound of 2013 Poll and No. 2 in the UK Blog Sound of 2013. On 15 July they return with their eagerly anticipated new single ‘Gun’ due for release on Virgin Records / Goodbye Records.
