Daughter release their debut album ‘If You Leave’ today on 4AD.

The band -  Elena Tonra, Igor Haefeli and Remi Aguilella - started garnering attention at the end of 2010, posting dark, ethereal and beautiful songs online, before releasing their debut EP ‘His Young Heart’ in 2011. They have continued to build a loyal following with subsequent releases ‘The Wild Youth EP’, ‘Smother’ and ‘Still’, plus their stunning live shows which often render crowds silent to a note.

‘If You Leave’ has received high praise from music critics, with The Line of Best Fit awarding 9.5/10 and asserting, “not since Portishead’s Dummy has heartbreak been so unswervingly depicted nor so compellingly rendered... Picking out high points is pointless: it’s the whole damn album, from beginning to close." Drowned in Sound give the album 9/10, calling ‘If You Leave “beautifully conceived” and “a remarkable acheivment”.
