The nominations for the 58th annual Grammy Awards were announced today, and Alabama Shakes and Florence + The Machine have an impressive four nominations each. 

Alabama Shakes' album ‘Sound And Color’ is nominated for the prestigious Album Of The Year, as well as the Best Alternative Music Album, whilst single ‘Don’t Wanna Fight’ is also up for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song.

Florence + The Machine’s song ‘What Kind Of Man’ has two nominations for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance, whilst album ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful’ is up for Best Pop Vocal Album.  Single ‘Ship To Wreck’ is nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group performance.

Disclosure’s album ‘Caracal’ and Jamie xx’s album ‘In Colour’ are nominated for the Best Dance/Electronic Album, whilst James Bay’s album ‘Chaos & the Calm’, containing songs by Jimmy Hogarth, Paul Barry, Jon Green, Tom Hull and Ed Harcourt is nominated for Best Rock Album.

The winners will be announced on 15th February 2016.
