Introducing “15 for 2015” - our snapshot of 15 songwriters that we’re expecting great things from in the coming year. Our fifteen for 2015 run the gamut of genres, from the synthy, hooky, future pop of BBC Radio’s Sound of 2015 winners Years & Years, to Soak’s stripped-back experimental folk. 

Radio 1’s current A-lister Rae Morris is featured, alongside Game of Thrones’ breakout star Raleigh Ritchie and XL Recordings’ Lapsley.

What runs through the heart of this list is songwriters telling stories; whether through smart lyrics, moving melodies or their own personal narrative. 2015 is all about talent, passion and brilliant new song writing.
