UMPG signs Alexis Ffrench to global publishing deal

Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG), a leading global publishing company, today announced that UK contemporary composer and pianist Alexis Ffrench has been signed to a global publishing deal.

Alexis Ffrench is an exceptional pianist and composer who trained at the Purcell School, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal Academy and has high ambition to bring joy to a world of troubled times.

This year Alexis’s album ‘Evolution’ entered the Classic FM chart at number 1 and remains in the top 10 after 11 weeks. Ffrench also released an EP ‘Together At Last’ solidifying a landmark year, with electrifying performances at Latitude Festival and this year’s Classic BRIT Awards, where he performed his track ‘Bluebird’.

With over 75 million streams to date and now over 1.5 million active Spotify listeners a month, Alexis Ffrench is already an established star in the streaming world, leading the way for the new generation of classical artists, with his music speaking to a very wide and diverse audience and transcending all boundaries and genres.

Ffrench will be aiming even higher and is currently in discussions with potential collaborators to bridge genres and demonstrate that the perceived gap between classical and pop isn’t so big after all.
