Aussie punk heroes Amyl & The Sniffers have signed a global publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG).
Having spent the last few months terrorising (and captivating) the globe with their feral pub rock, playing sold out shows across the UK, Europe and North America, and storming festivals including Glastonbury, Roskilde, Primavera, All Points East and Oakland’s punk Mecca, Burger Bugaloo, Amyl & The Sniffers have proved themselves as a force to be reckoned with.
Their self-titled debut album which dropped earlier this year saw them receive universal critical acclaim; a 30-minute dose of non-stop, hook heavy noise described by Pitchfork as “pure, uncut rock’n’roll fun,” and by Clash as “a little bit of magic.”
Their chaotic live show has seen similar acclaim, dubbed by The Guardian as “the single most exhilarating rock’n’roll show I’ve seen in years”, and earning them fans including Mac DeMarco, Jack White and Sleaford Mods.
We’re incredibly excited to have Amyl & The Sniffers onboard with UMPG, and to see what trick they pull out of their sleeves next.
